Al Ytsma, Partner

Al has over 25 years of information technology experience in North America. He is an accomplished Information Technology Management Consultant with significant experience in the utilities, energy and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining KnowledgeTech, Al was a Corporate Vice President with Sierra Systems Group Inc.; before that he was Sierra’s Vancouver Branch Manager. Al is actively involved in the marketing and delivery of solutions to KnowledgeTech customers, managing several key accounts and business partner relationships.


Gerry Parkinson, Partner

Gerry is a Professional Engineer with 27 years of engineering and management experience, including a number of operational and senior management roles with Westcoast Energy. He has extensive experience in operations management, management strategy, organizational change and the strategic use of technology in large enterprises. Gerry is actively involved in the delivery of solutions to KnowledgeTech customers as well as managing the overall Finance and HR roles at KnowledgeTech.


Karel ten Hoope, Partner

Karel has over 20 years of information technology experience. As the founder of KnowledgeTech in 1993, Karel was directly responsible for establishing KTC’s excellent reputation. In his role as CTO, he is responsible for recommending and implementing technology solutions for our customers, ensuring our consultants have the skills required to deliver high quality solutions based on our recommended technology.


Tabitha Creighton, VP, Services

Tabitha’s background and professional area of focus encompasses nearly 15 years in corporate and IT strategy alignment, performance management, and IT transformation initiatives. Prior to joining KnowledgeTech she held positions in strategy management and consulting with corporations like Canadian Tire and Microsoft. 

As a senior executive in Knowledgetech’s organization, Tabitha has responsibility for the Marketing, Partnerships, Services and Delivery functions.  In this role, she is accountable for ensuring the satisfaction of Knowledgetech’s relationships with our consultants, clients and strategic partners, as well as designing and driving the strategic vision for Knowledgetech’s consulting focus.

Outside of Knowledgetech, Tabitha is Co-Chair of the B.C. chapter of CATA’s Women in Technology forum, and a member of the Board of Directors for the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, or working with the Microsoft Alumni Foundation.
