Management Team

Al has many years of information technology experience in North America as an accomplished IT Management Consultant working with clients in a number of industry verticals, including utilities, energy, telecommunications, financial services and healthcare. As a Managing Partner and the President of the firm, Al provides corporate leadership, vision and strategic direction for the company. He is actively involved in sales and customer relationship management for key accounts. Al is instrumental in helping Knowledgetech continuously grow and improve to ensure our clients always receive practical and industry-leading solutions to solve their business problems.

Karel has over 20 years of information technology experience. As the founder of Knowledgetech in 1993, Karel was directly responsible for establishing KTC’s excellent reputation. In his role as CTO, he is responsible for recommending and implementing technology solutions for our customers, ensuring our consultants have the skills required to deliver high quality solutions based on our recommended technology.

Tabitha’s background and professional area of focus encompasses nearly 15 years in corporate and IT strategy alignment, performance management, and IT transformation initiatives. Prior to joining Knowledgetech she held positions in strategy management and consulting with corporations like Canadian Tire and Microsoft.

As a senior executive in Knowledgetech’s organization, Tabitha has responsibility for the Marketing, Services, and Partnership functions.  In this role, she is accountable for ensuring the satisfaction of Knowledgetech’s relationships with our consultants, clients and strategic partners, as well as designing and driving the strategic vision for Knowledgetech’s consulting focus.

Outside of Knowledgetech, Tabitha is Co-Chair of the B.C. chapter of CATA’s Women in Technology forum, and a member of the Board of Directors for the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, or working with the Microsoft Alumni Foundation.

Ryan has extensive experience in IT leadership, integration and business management with a focus on effective leadership through sound Project Management disciplines. He has been the Project Director, Project Manager and Lead Architect on many large initiatives. As an entrepreneur, he was the Founder, President and CEO of Cogent Integrated Solutions NA Inc. Ryan has worked in several industry verticals, but has extensive experience working in health care.

As Vice President Delivery Management, Ryan is involved in the oversight of every project delivery, from pre-sales through to execution. He also plays a leadership role working with our senior project managers to strengthen our PMO capability, both for ourselves and our customers.

Marty comes to Knowledgetech with a deep background and 15 years’ experience as a professional sales person in the Information Technology Industry.  Prior to joining Knowledgetech, Marty worked for several global high-tech companies where he managed some of the largest accounts in Western Canada, and internationally in the USA, Spain, South Africa, and New Zealand. Marty’s proven consistency in meeting or exceeding sales targets is key to Knowledgetech’s continued success and growth.

As Executive Sales Manager, Marty will manage Enterprise Accounts and drive Business Development and Sales efforts in Western Canada.

With over 20 years of experience in providing solutions and strategy consulting to leading local, US and international companies, Jim brings a wide range of knowledge and insights to our clients, including best practices in business intelligence, collaboration, stakeholder management and enterprise risk management. For the last 5 years, Jim has focused on BC and Western Canada, working with many of the leading mining/resource, financial services, retail and crown corporations.

A father of three very active teenagers, Jim also serves as Treasurer for the Fraser South Swimming Association, and is an active member of the Whistler Mountain Ski Club.
